Dakine Nova Glove
The Dakine Nova glove series are economical winter gloves designed to be extremely warm and dry. This glove is water resistant and highly insulated. The adjustable strap on top of the wrist and the elastic band under the wrist keep the warmth in. The longer cuff, or gauntlets and be worn inside or outside a jacket. The adjustable bungee in the cuff, or gauntlet, keeps the elements out.
Dakine Nova Short Glove
The Dakine Nova Short glove features the same style and design of the longer glove without the cuff, or gauntlet, or the adjustable bungee. Designed for those who prefer a shorter glove.
Dakine Nova Mitt
The Dakine Nova Mitt, like the Nova gloves, is water resistant and insulated. They are extremely warm and will protect you from the elements. There is an adjustable strap on the top of the wrist and an elastic band on the bottom of the wrist. The adjustable bungee on the cuff, or gauntlet, will keep the snow out.
Dakine Nova Wristguard Glove/Nova Wristguard Mitt
The Dakine Wristguard Glove and Nova Wristguard Mitt feature a lightweight aluminum stay built into the palm and a removable rigid nylon support on the back of the hand. The extra support offered by this innovative product protects hands and wrists during falls.
Falls are common when learning to ski and snowboard. The Nova Wristguard glove comes in men’s and children’s sizes to prevent injury on some of those first instructional outings.
Specifications:
- Type: Insulated snow glove with over the cuff, or gauntlet, design (Long Glove/Wristguard Glove and Mitt/Wristguard Mitt only).
- Shell: The shell fabric is treated on the surface with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish.
- Palm: Durable, long lasting, water repellent leather palm.
- Insulation: High-loft synthetic insulation
- Insert: Hipora® waterproof insert. Hipora creates a 3 layer microporous silicon coating. It prevents water penetration from the outside, to keep hands warm and dry on the inside.
- Lining: Tricot lining. Tricot is a close knit design incorporating a unique weave. One side becomes smooth and the other side becomes textured. It is a lightweight durable material that provides good flexibility and moisture control.
- Liner: None.
- An adjustable strap closure around the wrist. An adjustable bungee closure on the cuff, or gauntlet (except on the Nova short glove)
- Nose and goggle wipe thumb panels.
